This angiogram is taken at the level of the lower spine and pelvis. It shows the main blood vessel (aorta) passing down in front of the spine and branching into the main arteries supplying each leg (iliac arteries). The artery to this patient's right leg is fine, but  the artery to the left leg does not show up because it is blocked.
